I am Director DeCKie, a Ugandan cinematographer and video editor specializing in music videos, events, documentaries, and social media content. I have worked with several Ugandan content creators and artists including Merry Heart Tumbeetu, Allan Cruz (Maama Brighton), CB Talker, Reign Omusoyisoyi, Musiramu DDT, Ashiro, Mimi Kampala, and Jowy Landa. My goal is to create professional and engaging visual stories that connect with audiences.

The Journey of Director DeCKie
My journey in videography began with a passion for storytelling through visuals when I was transitioning to high school, and further joined ISBAT University with the same vision. The very first people to believe in me were Allan Cruz, Merry Heart Comedy, and Mr. Jinga, and others kept joining along the way. Over the years, I have developed skills in cinematography, video editing, color grading, and content production, working on a wide range of projects including music videos, events, interviews, documentaries, and social media content.I enjoy turning creative ideas into engaging visual experiences that connect with audiences. Whether working with musicians, content creators, businesses, or individuals, I focus on delivering professional results with attention to detail, creativity, and quality.
When I’m not behind the camera or editing, I continue learning new techniques and exploring innovative ways to improve my craft and create even better content for my clients.
